La ciclo pedonale che collega Lugana al borgo di Sirmione passa di fronte al nostro Villaggio.
5 chilometri divisi in due tratte che, dando la precedenza ai pedoni, si possono percorrere anche pedalando
(e se non hai la tua bici, non ti preoccupare, ci pensiamo noi!).
Il panorama è davvero molto suggestivo: si può ammirare la penisola di Sirmione
e alle sue spalle la sponda orientale del Lago di Garda.
Il primo tratto della passeggiata inizia da Punta Grò, nei pressi del Lugana Marina e
si interrompe vicino alla Chiesa Santa Maria di Lugana e della Pasticceria La Fenice,
un bel posto fronte lago dove poter fare colazione o l’aperitivo.
Lasciando la pasticceria si prosegue verso destra lungo la strada principale per circa 1 km e,
alla rotonda nei pressi delle terme di Virgilio, si prende la stradina sulla destra
che dà l’accesso al tratto finale della passeggiata lungo il lago
con destinazione il famosissimo Castello.
Lungo la via, non sarà raro incontrare cigni, anatre, gallinelle d’acqua che sguazzano nei canneti.
Tutta la camminata lungolago di Lugana è molto piacevole e rilassante da fare,
adatta anche ai bambini e ai passeggini in quanto il sentiero è asfaltato o comunque comodo al passaggio.
Non mancano panchine dove potersi riposare ammirando il lago,
così come tanti prati dove potersi sdraiare per una sosta rilassante.
The cycle path by the lake connecting Lugana to the ancient borgo of Sirmione lays right in front of our Villaggio.
5 kilometers divided into two sections which, giving priority to pedestrians, can also be covered by cycling
(and if you don’t have your own bike, don’t worry we’ll take care of it!).
The panorama is very suggestive: you can admire Sirmione peninsula
and behind it the eastern shore of Lake Garda.
The first part of the walk starts from Punta Grò, next to Lugana Marina and
stops near the Church of Santa Maria di Lugana and La Fenice pastry shop,
a nice place facing the lake where you can have breakfast or an aperitif.
Leaving the pastry shop, continue to the right along the main road for about 1 km e
at the roundabout near Terme di Virgilio you can take the small road on the right,
which is the access to the final section of the promenade along the lake
with destination the famous Castle.
Along the way, you can see many swans, ducks, water hens splashing in the reeds.
The whole walk along the Lugana lake is very pleasant and relaxing to do,
also suitable for children and strollers as the path is paved or in any case easy to pass.
There are benches where you can rest while admiring the lake,
as well as many meadows where you can lie down for a relaxing break.
